Beginning in 2009, this fundraiser was part of the Foothills Wine Festival, an annual celebration of local wine. Flavors of the Foothills was the kickoff dinner to the wine festival, which was held the next day. Since then, the fundraiser has transformed from a wine festival into an incredible event featuring an auction and dinner, now commonly known as Flavors of the Foothills, Foothills Conservancy’s signature event!

The event includes a unique silent auction featuring local art, experiences, tickets to shows, and more. A dinner prepared using local ingredients is served by the Morganton Community House following the auction.

In 2018, the event got a makeover…

Dinner was served on a long harvest table that stretched down West Union Street in downtown Morganton for a local autumn feast! Foothills Conservancy raised $43,000 through sponsorship gifts, gold table sales, general ticket sales, and other generous donations.

Tickets for the 10th annual Flavors of the Foothills will be available for purchase in September.
