Stewardship is how Foothills Conservancy protects the integrity of conserved lands. Landowners who have agreed to a conservation easement also agree to having their land monitored once a year. During these monitoring visits, we provide guidance to landowners to ensure they have all of the knowledge needed to uphold their end of their conservation easement agreement.

Our preserve lands also require regular maintenance and stewardship, which may include invasive species removal, erosion control, removing trash, and managing habitats.
