Foothills Conservancy successfully completed two high profile public land acquisitions. The long-sought Catawba Falls access property was purchased and conveyed to the U.S. Forest Service and now serves as a popular trailhead to the scenic Catawba Falls. The Barron Farm acquisition, a 698-acre property, was completed and the land added to South Mountains State Park, extending the park boundary to US Highway 64.
