2012
Three of the four projects in 2012 were conservation easements that permanently protected farmland. Two farms are located in Happy Valley of Caldwell County protecting the Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail, and the third farm is in Burke County, adjoining the Pisgah National Forest and protecting a major tributary of Lake James.
